Those of you born somewhere between 1955 and 1980 will get it with your life experience and for those of you born after that, well, listen up!!!  Perhaps I can give you a head’s up on what is coming!  For anyone born before that, good for you for following a blog!

A bit of background so that there is relevance to my posts.

I am 54 at the moment.  I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada, I am married and we have 3 cats. This should get you up to speed on pretty well everything and assure you that there will be no child care tips or hints.  No young’uns here other than my Spouse and I at heart …

Let’s start with the basics…

The best thing about being over 50 is that I truly do not give a crap about the things that meant something to me in my 20’s, 30’s or even 40’s.

Life is a Brand New Adventure Every Day!

To say that Life has been a Journey is an understatement.  We start to come into our own understanding of Self in our late teens and early 20s.  Here I am 30 years later.  Think back 5 years, 10 years, 20 years  (if you can) ~ there are moments of time that have stood out and of which you have a snapshot in your memory; a picture, a smell, a taste, a feeling.  They all mark our lives moving forward and color our future.

I think on those moments to give me history and relevance in my life.  Positive such as when I had my first travel adventure, sad when someone passes close to me, challenging when something just does not go my way despite my best efforts.

Our lives are a culmination of what is put in front of us and how we react to it and then how all that lands.

I find it interesting to break it down to small bites. 

This is what this blog will be about – it will grow as it does and I’m not sure where it will end up but I am looking forward to the ride.
