It does not Spring Internal.

Well, perhaps it can .. but not now. Right now, in our world, it takes work. And effort.

I have Hope.

We have booked a vacation in November to Mexico. Faith, but with a 24 hour cancellation clause.

What weird times we are living in.

I am double vaccinated and motivated. I am hoping that we can go on our vacation in safety. It is in November and this is September so I am also hopeful that people will come to terms with the reality of the situation.

Years and years ago we had polio, and rubella, and pox, and … People got vaccinated and now no one has to – it has been eradicated. Science is a wonderful thing.

We have to have certain vaccines to go to certain Countries – and have for a while. Heck, pets have to have certain vaccines to participate in everyday life. Why is this such a challenge?

The World has changed and I’m sure it will continue to do so.

Why is this an issue for some? Even masking is such a trigger!

Why? No one is asking you to go to war. To give your life.

The ask is just to put on a simple mask to perhaps protect the person you meet. Is that not a no-brainer? We live in a communal society. There are norms and they are called that because they should be Normal!

Anyhoo …

Hope.

I have it. I am clinging to it. I am projecting it for all my friends and family and my Country.

We will move forward from this. Canada, as usual, is leading the pack on common sense. We are one of the top Countries in having people vaccinated. We are not looking at it as taking away our freedom, we are looking at it as giving us all our freedom. And our social obligation for our fellow citizens.

Hope is awesome. Embrace it. Work for it. Share it. Encourage others to jump in.

Mexico, here we come!
